I long for the sun

I can understand why people's favourite season is not summer, the heat can get a bit much (which is a great excuse to just lay down and soak in the everything). So i accept autumn and spring. But WINTER!? when i ask people what their favourite part about it is their answer is "trying to keep warm" so your favourite part about the season is NOT interacting with the season?! Theres a reason why Winter is depicted as it is in media, it's miserable and dangerous. Winter is always dreaded in don't starve. Winter is coming is a famous quote dedicated to the destruction Winter causes to the human population. It just makes me so sad when the sun is gone for weeks at a time and you are still responsible to do things. So you just have to begrudgingly do things while actively fighting the cold Dressed up in so many layers you feel like a beef Wellington. Then you get hot and take it off just to feel the biting and burning of the cold.

In conclusion I understand not having summer as your favourite season, but WINTER? at least chose autmn and say late autmn. And I need sun to enjoy life. Have a great day y'all!

    I agree the season is hard to like, but the reason It's my fav is because of how much I don't like summer. lesser of two evils.

    Winter is number one on season opp list but its really fun dressing for it. When its cold out you can always more layers but when its hot you can only take so much off. I agree, best seasons are the inbetweens.

    to some degree I dislike it, but my main favourite parts is how it hypes you up for the future. I often get quite depressed in winter, but it always gets me excited for summer. I also love football, hot drinks, and the opportunity to finally wear long pants without fucking dying. also, layering is something Ive never truly experimented with until this winter, so ive been enjoying mixing jackets with my giant collection of either other jackets or shirts. also I LOVE fog and being able to see my own breath. such a vibe. not much to do though, so i understand the criticism of interacting with the season itself. its just better to freeze than sweat. if I freeze, i just gotta move and hit a little jig. if i sweat, i gotta take clothes off and sit still. I even get so sweaty I have to get changed or else I feel gross.

It feels a little too easy

So i am 3 minutes before my stats exam and i feel a little TOO confident. This is a bad sign and I am not ready to be humpty dumptied during this exam. This horse is too high to get off of and I am SCARED! I will update after my exam (with image) to express how many pieces all the kings horses and all the kings men will need to put back together again. Before: After:  Exam actually was easy so i deserve a sweet treat <3 i won an hour early and only a few questions I did not fully know! So yeah I have passed stats this semester 💪 and i get a deserved celebratory L&P and cinnamon roll. This is why you never doubt yourself and have confidence in your ability. Ok I actually have something to rant about

When people use fomo as an excuse it REALLY peeves me off. Others are allowed to have lives and you have yours. Throughout highschool besides the big things i almost never hung out with anyone outside of school maybe 3 times max last year. And one on one that's an even differenter story. I only hung out one on one with my best friend, any others are an anomoly that I can count with one hand. And do you want to know a limiting factor? IT'S OTHER PEOPLE! When inviting people to do something you have to complete essentially a thesus paper to keep people happy if you aren't inviting everyone. Then if other people know about it that are the same closeness to you then you have to worry about them getting "FOMO" or whatever other mental deficieny they want to pull. And i knew that they would do stuff (given about as much as I with them) but I wouldn't sit there and urinate myself, i just know that people have LIVES TO LIVE THAT ARE NOT MINE.
